Sometimes, he even goes right down the chimney like a demented version of Santa Claus. He leaves Snow White a few pretty pie tins as his present and a short note.]

He glances over his shoulder at his Mankey, who of course is throwing another temper tantrum. Really, Maul's home is going to run out of windows very quickly at this rate.] I have an animal friend-- ["Friend" being used in the loosest sense of the word but he figures it's best just to be succinct right now rather than explain how he and the Mankey relate to one another on a personal level.] --named Cranky who keeps getting angry over the slightest things. Oh yes, dried mushrooms are very easy. They're very similar to drying vegetables.

Oh, there are all sorts of mushrooms that grow here that are perfectly edible. There's button mushrooms, and chicken of the woods, morel, Trench is practically teaming with mushrooms, honestly.

Christmas Gift Delivery!! | 12/25

[On the morning of Christmas itself, Snow White will be literally presented with a gift by a delightfully friendly, albeit somewhat sleepy, grizzly bear. To keep people from being overly frightened (she is rather large, after all), she sits in the snow, playing with her feet, then waves while making excited bear noises. Seems she is not immune to Snow White's charms and affinity to animals big and small, because she trots right on up and nudges a nearly wrapped box toward Snow with a fuzzy paw.

The box itself is simple, with a dark green paper wrapping and silver yarn tying it together with a bow on top. Snowmen have been drawn on it, as well as some mittens, stockings, and pinecones. Inside the bx will be an assortment of goodies, the first one being a knit cap fashioned with ears and little deer antlers, a short story book that tells the tale of The White Stag (and other fairytales), as well as some adorable oven mitts, some cupcake pans, and some small glass jars (HEAVILY wrapped in tissue paper) filled with spices like whole vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and even whole nutmeg. Some goodies to use at her bakery, maybe? Or maybe even personal use!!

Inside there will also be a gift card, with a deer pulling a sled drawn on the back and a written note:]

Dear Snow-chan,

Merry Christmas!! I don't know if you celebrate, or even know what that is, but it's a winter holiday in my world where you give gifts to people that are special to you. Friends, family, loved ones...stuff like that!! And you've always been so kind and helpful with everything having to do with baking and sweets, I decided to get you stuff that could help out there!! And of course, if you ever need anything at all, I'd be happy to repay the favor with some baked goods myself. Sadly I ran out of eggs so I couldn't include any this time...but next time for sure!!!!

I hope you're doing well, and Rose too, of course! All the snow and cold weather has been making me so sleepy lately...but that's dangerous when it's this cold, so stay warm and bundle up lots!! If you need help, or are snowed in, please don't hesitate to contact me or my friends, okay? Rescue is part of our jobs as Heroes, and I specifically am more geared toward that, or specialize in it. :P

OH OCHAKO! The gifts are simply adorable! And the bear was so kind! I've invited her to stay with me for the week! And the spices! My goodness! You're going to spoil me so! However did you get so many amazing things?

And just so you know for the future, if you ever run out of eggs, you can use blood as a substitute! I found that out while making blood sausage! Oh, not sleeper blood, of course, animal blood like sheep, pig, or beef, those kinds! I can make you some, if you like!

Thankfully, the winters here aren't any harsher than the ones back home, and I actually have proper clothes and even a fireplace to sit in front of this time. But I shall be sure to stay cozy and warm.

I shall read the stories aloud during story time! I'm sure Faramund will love the stories as much as I do.

Snow White's birthday present is protected in a waterproof field bag. Inside is a book with pages and supplies designed for pressing and labeling flowers. Not one to give something empty, Midoriya found a blue larkspur-like bloom on one of his walks and started off the first page.

And for Christmas: By now, due to his habit of surprising friends who are feeling down with pastries, Midoriya has gotten good at meticulously sourcing a nice bakery. Carefully wrapped in a gift basket is a variety of seasonal pastries (apple-free).

Dear Izuku,

Your pastries were delicious. And thank you for not having apples in anything. But OH DEAR! I didn't realize I didn't sign the gifts! I was just so focused on making them all! Oh dear oh dear... Well, I suppose that's alright. Love was baked into each and every pie, so even if my name is not written anywhere, my love and fondness still was carried through.

But how so very clever of you to figure it out!

And there you go being so wonderfully kind offering to shovel snow for me. I shall ask my fox and badger friends to help dig with you. The winters aren't any harsher than back home so I will help however I can, as well.

[This year, Maul had decided to behave himself when it came to giving gifts, unlike in years past where he broke into people's houses rather like Santa himself did. All gifts are left on the porch or front step of the recipient's home for them to find in the morning.

Snow was given a red cloak and fur muff to help make sure she stayed warm this winter. A sketch of the princess is also included. Accompanying it was a note in blocky handwriting wishing his friend a Merry Christmas signed from Darth Maul.]

There's a rap at the door, Rose standing on the other side wearing a dress in the style she'd been used to at home, but this is a special occasion so she wanted to look good. Over the dress is a lined black leather biker jacket.

She's bearing a gift, wrapped in bright red paper with a silken green bow which is long enough to also be worn as a headband. Inside the box is a beautiful necklace Rose had commissioned. She's smiling brilliantly

Snow opens the door quickly, well aware it's her significant other. When she sees it's Rose, she pulls her in and closes the door behind her. The house is warm and cozy and Snow is quick to take Rose's hands into her own, rubbing them to try and keep them warm. With it being so warm inside, Snow opted for sleeveless festive number. She had never had bare shoulders before! It felt so risque!

"Oh my darling! You must be freezing! Here, come in and sit by the fire for a bit. You look so lovely but I don't want a Rosicle!" she giggled.

Robby! You know me so well! Yes, a veritable garden of Eden has sprung up around us, I'm taking full advantage of it. I've got several bushels and barrels and soon I'm going to start pickling, jamming, jarring, preserving, canning, curing, drying, and salting! We're going to have so much for the winter this year! It's wonderful!

Well, no, likely not everything, even if I got the whole forest involved, there are still plenty hibernating, and even more than that, animals don't tend to overeat as people do.

But is there something you want preserved? I'd be happy to do it for you!
