Uh. Long story short, I was missing a bunch of memories. Not really an excuse, but I wanted to explain and apologize. And thank you for being kind.

Connect with animals? I'm not sure what you mean. They're my friends if that's what you're asking.

If I'm, hmm, in the right mind set, I can feel what they feel, share my feelings or images.

What an incredible gift! I can share what I feel by telling them or show them images in pictures or books, but they have to tell me what they feel. I cannot know by being in any sort of right mindset.

Most people don't pay enough attention to even think to do any of that with beings that don't see as, well, other people.

Oh, well, animals were my only friends growing up, so I told them everything and they told me the same!

[Ezra is suddenly realizing part of why people look at him oddly sometimes. Ok, he's known for a long, long time his wavelength is a little...different.

Snow is, just maybe, even further out there on some parts of a similar wavelength.]

I think maybe you're better at making friends than I am. I didn't realize animals made such good friends until a few years ago.

I just...didn't have any, for a long time.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. Being all alone with no one at all can be terribly hard. Are you alright? If you are in need of a friend, I'm more than happy to be one!

Yeah, I'm doing much better, most days. Thanks. Although I'm always glad to make more friends, at this point in my life.

I'm sorry you can relate, like, at all. How about you? Doing ok?

Oh! I'm so glad! I'm very glad to be making friends, too! It's so much better than being all alone where no one acknowledges you exist.

And I'm doing very well! I have people who love me and friends both animal, mythical, and human!

I'm always happy to have extra help in the kitchen, my animals help me all the time while I'm cooking for myself.

But I'm pretty good with ingredient prep and can follow instructions so hopefully as much help as you animal friends?
