Hmmm? Oh! I'm at the bakery still, Arden. Is everything alright? Did you take care of whatever it was you needed to? You don't have to come back, silly goose, I'm perfectly able to close up on my own.
[That's all he needs to know. He uses his Dark Corridor to appear just inside the back room, with his miniature orange dreamsicle cake on a plate. It's not decorated with her name or anything like that. Instead, it has a red fondant bow on it like the kind she wears in her hair.
Whether she's in the back room or not, he calls out to her.]
What you've brought me? Oh did they get the cherries in early?
[Snow White is wiping her hands on her apron as she comes from the back of the bakery, only to see Arden with the cake and her classic bow. Her eyes widened and she dropped the apron.]
Is... [Did someone... make her a cake?] Arden... [She whispered as she came closer, only to then be frozen in place.] Is that for me?
[Oh her reaction is going to stick with him a long time. That's the best one he's gotten yet to making something - or maybe it's just so much better because she KNOWS how hard he's worked to get to this point. It's not even a full sized cake for that very reason.]
Well it's not for the customers.
[And he laughs warmly.]
I'm supposed to tell you that a little bird told me you hadn't had cake made for you before, and I figured... I knew someone trying to learn how so... Happy Birthday.
Well, I've never celebrated my birthday in many years, but shouldn't I be allowed to celebrate it how I choose? I want you here with me, and eating with me.
I'm not sure that applies to someone like me, Snow. I think that'd make sense if the worst thing anyone ever did was like... lie, cheat, steal, that kind of stuff. But, worse than that... at best you can just kind of be okay afterwards, I think.

Just come and see what I've brought for you!
[He's kind of excited.]

Arden... this is... thank you. Will you eat it with me?
Re: [Action]
But it's your birthday present.
[He feels like he has to press that point a little... He wants her to enjoy it after all.]
If I eat it with you, that's less for you to eat.
[And he knows all about no one making things for you, so this feels important.]

Re: [Action]
[Oh. Well then.]
You just can't stop giving me gifts even on your own birthday.
[He shakes his head a bit.]
Alright. Let's get a knife then. Iguess I can eat it with you.
[He's actually really proud of it and how happy it made her.]

Re: [Action]
[He smiles broadly at her actually wanting him around. Baking memories indeed.]
You got me there. At least I can use the same excuse some day.

Re: [Action]
That's still really weird for me to even think about, but I promise to use that excuse for sure.
[He grins and lets himself be led over.]

Re: [Action]
How can you say something like that? 'Many people'?
[He doesn't believe her for a second. Maybe like... three at the most, all friendly kinds of love, with her included.]

Well, let's see, count along with me then. There's me.
Re: [Action]
Right, you - and Sora and maybe Roxas. Or Usagi, actually. Usagi would at least say it out loud.
[That's it, to him.]

I'm not a wonderful person. I've done terrible things. At best I'm an idiot who's trying to learn better.

You may not be sure of it, but I most certainly am. I've seen your heart when you didn't know you were showing it.
Wrap?
