[ Oh hyne...! Squall quickly holds onto her hips to keep himself from falling off. ]

[She did warn him.

Her hands are in Frederick's fur, not one to put a saddle on a bear of all things. They arrive in about ten or fifteen minutes or so to the bakery. She moved off of Frederick, gave a little pump to her hair and then pressed a kiss to the bear's head.]

Squall, dear, we're here! Frederick, why don't you head home and relax? You don't have to stay on the sidewalk, especially with how hot it might get today.

[The bear chuffed and then promptly laid down on the ground in front of the bakery.]

Oh very well, be stubborn about it, you're as bad as Squall.

[She pulled out her keys for the front door of the bakery.]

Come along, Squall dear! Frederick, at least come rest inside. We won't have any customers today anyway.

[ As stubborn as a bear... well he has to say that's the first time he's ever heard that one before...

He follows behind Snow though with an awkward look on his face. ]

[She looked back towards him and then paused.]

Have you been in the bakery's kitchen before, Squall?

You'll need to take off your gloves and thoroughly wash your hands, no one is allowed to touch anything in my kitchen until they do that, and don't think I don't mean it.

[She paused and came a bit closer to him.]

Squall, it will be alright, I'm right here.

[ He listens to her instructions and gives a small nod as he goes to take off his jacket as well as his gloves. He figured with the sleeves so long, they'd end up getting in the way anyway, so he sets his gloves and jacket down on a stool out of the way. ]

I know... and I appreciate it.

[ He gives her shoulder a soft squeeze before moving over to the sink to start washing his hands. ]

[She goes over to another sink to wash her own hands as well before humming and pulling down her apron and one of the bigger aprons for Squall.]

Now then, we'll have to gather all the necessary items and ingredients. We are making several different kinds of cookies, though, at least a butter cookie and a shortcake cookie.

If you tell me what they are I can grab them for us...?

[She guided him over to the pantry, and unlocked it and gestured inside. If he walked into the small room, the walls were lined from top to bottom with shelves full of ingredients and some fruits and jams and everything else that didn't need to be refrigerated in the massive freezer next to the pantry.]

Right in here, at least, some of them. What do you think?

.... That's a lot of stuff.

It is a bakery, silly goose, I'm not just feeding seven dwarfs here. But everything is alphabetized, so you'll find it very easily. I keep my pantry as clean and as well stocked as I can.

You're not kidding....

[ He honestly looks pretty awed by it all. ]

I never kid about a well-stocked kitchen, not when you used to live with seven dwarfs!

I'm not... sure what a dwarf is, but I guess it's safe to assume your friends from home?

Oh yes, my first friends ever that weren't animals. They took me in and took care of me after I found out my stepmother was trying to kill me. There's seven of them, they're my little men. Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy, Sleepy, and Happy!

[ Since she was close enough to him, he reached back to ruffle her hair a little bit, with a softer expression on his face. ]

[When he was done, she lightly fixed her hair, smiling as she took his hand and gave it a gentle pat on the back.]

But you don't need to keep hearing about me, we have baked goods to make!

I mean... we can still talk about you while making baked goods... I don't really know much about you.

Well, what would you like to know? You can ask anything you like.

[ Squall starts slowly shifting through the ingredients, grabbing the ones he knows for certain they'd need for everything. ]

I'm not... really sure. I'm not the best at this "tell me about yourself" stuff. I don't even really talk about myself to others... I guess first question should be something easy like Favorite color?

... I dunno.

Red. [She smiled as she reached up to touch the top of her bow, careful not to touch her hair after washing her hands. She then moved to grab the ingredients he may not have thought to get and add them to the basket to be carried out of the pantry.]

I have three, red, blue, and yellow, but my absolute favorite color of all is red.

I guess that would explain why I mainly see you wearing them.

[ He gives a small nod as he follows her out of the pantry. ]

Mnn, and what's your favorite color?

[She put the ingredients out on the stainless steel countertops.]

I never really thought about it, but... I guess I kind of like blues. Like stormy blues and ocean blues... sky blues too.

You mean blues as pretty as your eyes? You and so many here have such beautiful eye colors, Sora, Ventus, Vanitas, and so many others.

Ah... my eyes?

[ he could understand what she meant about everyone else though. Their eyes, the blues and goldens were pretty striking indeed... ]
