AU History:
Snow White was born to a noble human family in the Blue Court's lands. Her mother, tragically, died during childbirth with Snow White. Snow White was raised by her father to the best of his ability with the best teachers money could buy, but he realized he just couldn't provide what his daughter needed and he was also a man with his own needs. Enter the beautiful Lady Grimhilde when Snow White was seven years old.
Unknown to both her father and Snow, Grimhilde was a Gold Court vampire, well aware of the vast fortune Snow White's father and mother had accumulated from their noble inheritance, investments, and oh yes, the jewel mines on her father's land. Before the ink on the marriage certificate was barely dry, Snow's father died from a sudden heart attack when Snow White was 8 years old.
Immediately, Grimhilde just used Snow White like a Thrall, worse than a Thrall in fact, abusing her in the manor and secluding her stepdaughter away from everyone and everything. If she wasn't abusing her, she was pretending the girl didn't exist leaving the girl to her books and her songs to while away the days. The only thing she didn't do was feed from her stepdaughter, not wanting to eat from someone she thought was so lacking in "quality." Then, Grimhilde found out that all of her husband's wealth was to be given to Snow White. The icing on the insulting cake was that even without being a vampire, Snow White was growing up to be quite pretty... fairer than Grimhilde, even.
First, Grimhilde tried to give Snow White the chance to die an easy death, poisoning her with a poison comb.
Well, that didn't work.
The second time, Grimhilde gave Snow White a poisoned apple. That knocked out Snow White for several months and whispers in the Blue Court started to spread about how Grimhilde was treating Thralls and humans she came across, never mind her own stepdaughter. But what did Grimhilde care what Blue Court thought? She thought she had won but while Snow White was certainly out for some time, it didn't kill her.
More rumors started to spread.
During a party that Grimhilde was holding, Thralls abound, and guests from her and other courts, Snow White dared to watch it from the shadows.
Well, Grimhilde was not having any more of it. If Snow White would not die peacefully, then she would die violently. That same night, Grimhilde made to cut out Snow White's heart with her own hands.
She nearly succeeded too, certainly, the scar on Snow's chest is a testament to that. But Grimhilde should have known better than to draw blood like that amongst "friends." A Silver Court attendee had seen what Grimhilde was attempting and taking pity on Snow, Grimhilde was taken care of, and with Snow so close to death, a Blue Court attendee decided to give the poor girl a break. The Blue Court also conveniently didn't step in to stop such an unfortunate death of a Gold Court member.
Snow White was quickly shuffled off to Castle Courtsheart immediately after she was healed, with no time to really take any of it in, and what will become of her, and should she fail? Well, no one can say Silver and Blue didn't try. But, clearly, whatever happens, it's for the best. Better than the living situation with Grimhilde, in any case. And, what a wealthy, noble addition to have in the Courts! Isn't that nice?
AU Personality: Snow White is almost exactly the same as her OU counterpart. She's still desperate for companionship, making friends, and desperate to be loved. Slightly different though, is her need to prove herself. OU Snow White is much more assured of herself despite everything that happened to her. However, AU Snow White was only able to stay alive because she was useful to her stepmother, and even now, she's trying to prove she can be "of use" except to the Courts instead of to her stepmother.
Her affinity for cleanliness is more because poisons are so easily found on food, hands, clothing, anywhere, really, so best to have things cleaned by her constantly or only those she trusts thoroughly.
Having had literally no friends, not even animals, Snow is a bit more socially awkward, but still open and honest, and friendly. She is a bigger bookworm than her OU counterpart since she was never allowed out of the manor and books were her only way to experience kindness or the world as a whole.
She still absolutely believes in seeing the good in people. Just because HER stepmother has a black hole where her heart should be doesn't mean others do. Clearly, since she was saved by the Blue and Silver Court.

Anticipated Court: Silver. After finding out that her stepmother was a Gold Court vampire, she absolutely wants to stay as far away as possible from that Court. After the injury she suffered, Snow White is keen to learn healing so that she can help others, and never let another person be in her position again. She wants to learn as much as she can, especially, since she's been so deprived of understanding the world around her and Silver seems to be the way to do that. She also, hopefully, will come to learn that the poisoned apple was partially preserved that her stepmother used on her and just got things mixed up, that's why she was out for several months rather than dying. She could be potentially persuaded to join Blue though, especially as she gets more comfortable with animals as a whole.
